Sharing our memories

An excerpt from 'My Memories of My Hero: Mr. Sheikh Razzak Ali'-Sheikh Razzak Ali Sharok grontho
'There was picnic at the Speaker House, just a small family affair. It was nanubhai’s plan. I loved how he thought of such things and we did that immediately- just these ‘spur of the moment’ events. There were times, when ammu was working for her doctoral degree and I was little and needed company. So, nanubhai would spend his evenings with me. We would either go to one of his friends’ places or travel in the car, just driving around.
When I got older, amidst nanubhai’s busy schedule in the High Court, we’d find time to spend. In the evening, sometimes, nanubhai would pick me up from the art classes that I attended. Sometimes, nanubhai and I would go out to eat at restaurants and also when we had big get-togethers. We loved eating fast food too. Nanubhai really enjoyed eating out. He liked McDonalds, burgers, chicken nuggets, fish and chips. I loved his fun side. And that’s what I’ll always think of, nanubhai’s fun-loving, affectionate, friendly and sensitive side.'
