Sheikh Razzak Ali, the patriarch of his immediate close knit family and also his much extended one, was born in 1928 in Hitampur, Paikgacha of Khulna, a district south of Bangladesh .

He started off as an ordinary person who has lived extraordinarily. From overcoming financial difficulties to playing a huge role in shaping his country and its development to being a role model of generations to come, Nanubhai has had a fulfilling and enriching life.

 

As his grand daughter, I have come to know so much more about his outside world after he passed on almost two years back now, in June 2015 after being diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012. 

 

This is just a small act on all of us, his grandchildren to keep Nanubhai and his legacy moving forward.
